Full-spectrum engineer

I started as an Electrical & Computer Engineer building automated ECU test environments at Delphi and analyzing failed automotive electronics at Bosch. That hardware-first grounding — reproduce it, measure it, find the root cause — is still how I debug software.

Since then I've worked on Medicaid claims and eligibility platforms in Unix C and Oracle Pro*C, built and led .NET teams in manufacturing, and moved codebases from folder backups to Git, CI/CD and Azure.

I use AI coding agents (Claude Code, Codex) every day across the development lifecycle and hold their output to the same bar as anyone else's: tests and code review before it ships.

    • Medicaid batch processing. Diagnosed production defects and tuned performance in Unix C and Oracle Pro*C batch engines behind multi-state Medicaid claims and Eligibility & Enrollment.
    • Core engine & business rules. Designed and implemented automated business-rules enforcement and data operations inside the core claims processing engine.
    • Defect prevention. Unit and integration testing with cross-functional leads, catching critical edge cases before production rollout.

  2. Lead Software Engineer

    • DevOps transformation. Inherited a codebase with no version control and ad hoc deploys; led 5 engineers to Git and a tailored Scrum process on Azure DevOps with automated test gates.
    • Real-time supply chain monitoring. Re-architected batch reporting into real-time automated alerts — delivery-risk visibility went from days to minutes.
    • Secure cross-domain portal. Built an Azure App Service portal giving a key customer access to production test records without exposing the internal network.
    • Automation. Python and C# tooling cut manual supply chain data processing ~85% (4 hours → 15 minutes).
    • Shop-floor work instructions. Python app on Raspberry Pi displays across ~70–80 stations on 10 lines, each pulling its current instructions from a central server.
